I disagree. It's been a top tier season ever since the Mother's Day episode. Not every episode is perfect, but I really started extremely enjoying even the more mundane episodes once Meroron became a big part of the season starting episode 15. My experience with the Meroron ride has been way too much fun.

I really love this season, but I think my love for Meroron is a big factor. I thought it was a pretty solid season before she joined, but soon after she joined, it started feeling like one of my favorites. I also think the way it treats its villains is surprisingly good. I thought that they would be more one note.
