I switched to Linux Mint from Win10.
Honestly it was mostly painless and gaming trough Steam is easy as fuck. The only thing i REALLY miss is OS level Autoscroll (you can get a shitty version for browsers).
Apparently some faggots many years ago decided that middle click is 'paste' and the Linux gods decided that was the greatest choice ever and therefore must never be changed.

If you wanna change from Windows i'll say go ahead, it's very much possible these days. Just have a mindset that Linux aint Windows, it's neither better nor worse, it's just different and you'll have to find alternative ways of doing shit, but it's honestly very easy now.
Also the greatest irony of all is that chatGPT, of which MS owns 49%, makes troubleshooting fantastically easy. You don't need to knows shit or crawl through autism riddled subforums, just ask gpt.
