Here's an incomplete pic I've been wanting to make for a while. This is only for small game and furbearers (like squirrel, groundhog, raccoon, opossum, fox, coyote, skunk). It does not include the entire caliber regs. It does not include shotguns because shot size and gauge regs make it twice as complex. It does not include airguns because that also has some complexity. This is small game only; I don't include big game like deer, elk, bear, etc. as that has almost a complete ban on semi-auto, maybe except shotguns, as well as caliber and shot regs I don't entirely understand being a small game and fur hunter (because marinaded pan fried squirrels taste like chicken and I'm learning taxidermy). The MP5 is supposed to be a stand-in for a 9mm PCC. And don't take this as fact, just general guidelines as far as I understand the game laws. I can't blame not having braces mentioned in game laws, but it has been several years since they've been out and popular; having any mention at all of braces in the digest would be a very smart thing to include...any year now.

Anon, I wouldn't doubt it for one second. I've found so many shotgun shells in areas I know are likely "illegal" hunting spots on public land while exploring. It's just if anyone's around or if the game warden that probably isn't there feels like getting your ass on something or not. The most they've ever done here is put up signs in an area that was a not-so-obvious 150yd safety zone that I know previously had deer stands in it. I'm not even saying anyone deserved fines for that, just that it's applied so sloppily and gamelands are designed so poorly for the game laws they have on the books that I can't blame the hunters that don't know (or hunt safely not caring). You can't tell me everyone I meet pours through the yearly PA game digest as well as the website with possible additional regs for the game lands they hunt on (*if applicable); I'm probably an outlier.
