I remember we were looking through the archives of the "first" uma threads when you guys were enjoying the original JP content and the first thing people pointed out was "man they're WAY hornier than us"
I think people here want to keep it pure in the sense that they dont want the thread to devolve into yet another ERP fest or porndump thread, which we already have plenty of on /v/ as it stands.
These threads are shortlived, they go quick. We're not allowed to have them 24/7, so we have to make each minute count. It does provide a nice balance, and sometimes I wish we would go longer without having a thread up, but we burn through them pretty quick when an event is happening and jannies don't like the reoccuring discussion...so we keep it on topic not because it's the safe thing but because people genuinely want to use that time to discuss strategy and whatever is going in-game at the time. There's a lot of passion over CMs and racing as well
