Super cute! For golden on donut you need to keep in mind that gold is not a color per se, but mix of colors. Sience it's a metal it's very reflective
and depending on light source it's gonna appear differently. I'm not good with hands either so it's not super helpful but i personally think of simple shapes
at first. Like boxes and stuff and construct on top of that.
