The thing I hate about Modern SpongeBob diehards isn't so much that they defend everything the new episodes do, but that they'll ONLY focus on going to bat for the latest SB episodes and at the same time ignore any other, newer Nicktoon, especially when it does a better job of balancing snappy visual humor with an actually coherent narrative. It's like these people have blinders on and believe SpongeBob is the only cartoon airing on Nick.
