Listen, I'm the #1 MICA hater in this thread, but they were kinda fucked either way. Either they released Leva and people chimp out because they released 3 back-to-back mandatory Electric characters, or they space out the elements a bit and people get mad because they didn't release the characters fast enough.

Honestly, if I was MICA at this point and I wanted to catch up to CN while earning back some goodwill, I'd go the Snowbreak route where for a few patches, we get 2 character banners but you get one copy of one for free guaranteed. Make the free character the less useful one, and give her an unskippable skin that even F2P players will crack on.

This will help us catch up to CN at record pace, bring players who have quit back because they will log in just to claim the new character, and bring good community sentiment towards MICA back from the grave. And let's be honest, how many people were actually going to roll on a doll like Florence? Not many. But look at how many people rolled for Belka JUST to buy the titty monster skin.
