and to point out, these are clovers act choices here against flowey. I can not fathom how clover would not feel regret over hurting his friends. he did the right thing by his beliefs sure but he still had to betray their trust and make them suffer, you can say all you want that they deserved it because they betrayed him first but clover clearly thinks of them as friends in the pacifist route so why wouldn't that weigh on him. why wouldnt he lament that in order to help his friends he had to hurt them, especially if martlet was to come find him and tell him "thats not justice, thats not justice for us and that wasn't justice for you", and considering that martlet thinks the individual is important considering she gives clover so many chances to prove that he's actually good thats very in line for something she could say.
