BEcause its a turn based tacitcs MMO, its just an unpopular format. They shouldve made a character action game or RPG with real time combat or something instead of an MMO. A large part of the appeal of Wakfu is the aesthetics, making it a 2d sprite game wasnt exactly leaning into its strengths I feel.
