I don't really browse here much but it's so weird how much of 4chan hates apple products. I'm a GP/family doctor with a similar social circle so it's completely unremarkable yet on 4chan they're items of complete controversy. Like just get a decent job and they are affordable.

Everyone knows they are expensive but for overall experience there isn't really anything better which is why they're so popular. I'm using an m1 MacBook Air right now which is old and it is still incredibly quick, lasts the whole day, doesn't heat up and silent cause of no fan. Meanwhile most modern high end windows laptops are still have fans, heat up quickly, barely last and often used with a mouse cause the trackpad isn't very good.

I am a shadow of my former self (although much kinder and more relaxed) and couldn't perform at the same level now. I'm way too lazy, used to a nice lifestyle and just not as driven/ambitious/aggressive.

Yes it is absolutely that. Being a doctor would be something to be proud of in almost all cases but the financial success is so extreme it will always overshadow everything and while I do think I was performing at an extremely high level from 13-21 I have definitely just rode on former glory to the present day.
