Ian is a super early millennial squarely in the "actually liked SATAM/Archie" age range, whereas Evan is mid-range millennial and cut her teeth on deviantArt. This massively influences everything about their respective writing. Evan writes deviantArtslop and Ian writes SATAMslop. Take your pick. They're both better than Pontaff. I feel like Ian is too up his own ass about some things though. I don't feel like Evan would keep pushing something that was wildly unpopular but Ian always will if he thinks it's the right way to go.
