Also this >>283534288 it isn't just an American thing, it happens around the world. For example, I saw Japanese people complain about Japanese scalpers before. I was translating what they were saying when an expensive statue was shown off for sale in a live stream. Half the comments were complimenting the statue, and the other half were saying stuff like 'and it will sell out from scalpers', 'fans won't be fast enough to purchase', etc. No matter what language or country, scalpers are a menace.
