Watanare isn't good because it's a yuri harem. Watanare is good because it's unironically a deconstruction of harems. It takes the concept more seriously than having cardboard cutouts who only ever orbit the "kind" MC whose passivity is always forgiven while nothing irreversible ever happens and only 2 girls are allowed to stand any chance of winning. This is also why a lot of yuri harems don't stand out like Watanare. They're following the trend without getting it.
