I treat the conversational/interpersonal parts of the internet as a destination for entertainment rather than something that permeates my entire life, and I have lots of IRL friends, a boyfriend, a band, and a family who I spend far more time with than anything or anyone online (save for irls that I game with).
Ironically joining a band was the number one thing that grounded me mentally (before accepting myself as trans ofc), it taught me so much about interpersonal relationships, not just among band members, but among fans and random people I don't know as well, and reassured me that no matter what, there are people who care about me. That brought me comfort and stabilized my outlook on life to such a huge degree, and it turned me into a total combo of both introvert/extrovert. I can turn the switch on whenever I want now
I guess you could just say I kinda...grew up I suppose.

Even living in Texas, I don't care if someone clocks me, other people can think whatever the heck they want about me, transition is something I'm doing for myself, not for approval or affirmation from randos.
The only thing I'm afraid of is someone trying to physically hurt me, but even then, I do know how to defend myself. Once I'm more established in my job and start hormones I'm gonna start showing up a little more like left pic lol.
