long story short (not really), i just finished watching her anime and i feel like opening this ritualistic thread at least once, since i've come to know and understand the appeal of Misaki-chan and the threads made to celebrate her.

I get so sad every time I see Misaki posted here. The anime itself didn't touch me so much but every time I see that character it reminds me that I'll most likely never have a companion as well-meaning, innocent or wholesome as her. It seems like a dream that would have been achievable just a few generations before but now that romance and innocence have been killed I don't think it will ever happen to me. Grim.
