Tons of stuff from the 90-00s era has bizarrely low scores compared to today's slop. It's the same with movies, TV, and games.
We didn't know how good we had it back then. Critics and audiences both took this level of quality for granted and dismissed stuff as uninspired or imperfect, whatever, 7/10 ... and then never got anything on that level ever again as GAS and marvelslop took over.
