>I thought reality shifting and LOA were two different ways to achieve the same result, but from what say these are actually the very same techniques?
NTA but they are both pretty much the same thing. Reality shifting is just the newer internet label for stuff Neville was teaching decades ago, which is why shifters usually cite Neville when they give out advice. Both boil down to the same mechanics, assume a state in imagination, persist in it, and let awareness do the rest.
Shifters talk about scripts, subliminals, and methods like the raven or alice in wonderland, but those are just ritualized ways of doing SATS or living in the end. Affirmations, visualization, feeling real, it's all the same toolkit.
The only real difference is in presentation. Shifting communities frame it in multiverse/science-fiction language, while Neville framed it in biblical/mystical language. But the same core is the same, consciousness moves, reality conforms.
