The funniest part about this scene to me is still that the mother was actually being very calm and reasonable in asking for very basic clarification on a term she clearly had no frame of reference for. But Taash starts freaking out and the music ramps up with her in the moment to push that this is a big escalating conflict.

It reminds of that episode of South Park where Sharon is the only one being reasonable about freaking out about a school shooting, but the whole joke is that everyone else has normalized mass shootings to the point that they don't care so the music only ever escalates to make her look like the irrational one.
