FFXVI should have been even MORE like Naruto if it wanted to be great. I wanted Clive to have a conversation with Ifrit at least once or for there to actually be any kind of character dynamic between Clive and the fire demon inside him

Kurama is iconic and mysterious from the very beginning until the very end, and he's got an undeniable presence on the story events in at least 9 different ways that build and build as the story develops complexity and reveals more and more.

Ifrit by comparison is no more fleshed out than Ifrit or any other summon has been before when they were just summon animations. It just sucks. Ifrit is one of my favorites from the beginning and he receives nothing for his legacy from XVI. The cutscene QTE feats and half baked boss fight mechanics are still cool though.
