I worked at BK when Wendy's came out with their $0.99 menu. It freaked our managers out. We had a $0.99 sandwich of the day promotion but it was a different sandwich each day so you'd better be in the mood for a Whaler if you came in on Friday.
Not sure I ever say the BK commercial you mentioned but it sounds a bit funny.
