Long story short:
The original game which came out in 2011 was a bit of a beast when it came to specs, not only that but I was about 10 years old when it came out, so I wasn't really allowed to play stuff like that, given the game's content (which is funny since my parents had no issue with me playing COD at the time either).
To add to this, we were somewhat poor at the time, and getting a decent PC to run Skyrim at the time was next to impossible, most of the ones I had were either potato netbooks or low end desktops, which my whole family also used back then. Didn't get a decent laptop to play it until recently, which I've been using for a while now.
Though despite that, I still vividly remember going on the internet and just seeing Skyrim ads everywhere, before that, it was Fallout 3, and before that it was GTA 4, so to say it was a big deal would be a huge understatement. Also yes, I'm playing vanilla SE

I think Silksong's price is just fine, worth the price of admission and unlike AAA games that are now costing 80$, actually a good purchase.

I can't say much about it obviously but what I can say is that it's a Metroidvania, won't say anything else, but progress so far has been good
