After thinking about it,
does nobody else think that the motto "Eclipse first, the rest nowhere" is kinda weird for a school?
Why is the school for young japanese umas using what was basically a mean spirited gloat after a race by the owner (in-universe would be trainer i guess) of their british racehorse ancestor?
Usually if schools have mottos, they relate to something more widely applicable, like some positive personal quality, not fellate a specific person (horse)
It just seems weird to basically have "Yo granddaddy was king, everyone else sucks and should give up" as a quote meant to inspire young athletes
