I played on GameGarage mainly. It's a sad nostalgia whenever i revisit.
Since we're all trying to remember our old favorites, there was a duo of games I liked that had you take control of a prince to fight invading forces, running back and forth across the screen. You could pay to summon soldiers too, and the final level gave you griffins. The sequel had you playing as the son of the previous protagonist.
