This author's most famous manga, Raichi Hikari Club, is kind of homo despite its premise (schoolboys build a robot to kidnap schoolgirls) and also written by a man. Never read it though. They most likely asked this guy to draw Raidou due to his love for Taisho uniform and dark aesthetics.
