Why didn't Russia just roll over Ukraine, defeat their military and depose their regime in a month like USA did in Iraq? Why did they choose to go for a war of attrition that is in its 4th year now, with suffering hundreds of thousands if not over a million of casualties at this point and triple digit billions worth of equipment lost, with no end in sight?
The USA defeated the Iraqi military and deposed the regime within a month of invasion. Why can't Russia do this in Ukraine?
