If you could go at the mechanics with whatever students you wanted (within reason) so long as they met mechanics checks it'd be great, but if you do that you'll run out of body throws just winging it outside of a tightly tuned meta comp. I have a lot of fun raiding and have got plat every raid since a little after Bunny Chasers right after launch but there's definitely a lot of times where'd I'd just love to be able to wing a comp past Extreme.
This is just the nature of gacha obviously and I don't mind it, but raiding definitely isn't made fun just by reading boss skills.
