1. Learning to speak a new language and assimilating into a new society is not necessarily "mind rape". It's just human adaptation, especially when it is done with the help of native allies against their oppressors (like Tlaxcaltecs and other indigenous societies becoming allies to the Spanish conquerors against the Aztecs).

2. That map is not entirely right. The Viceroyalty of New Spain was not a "colony", it was an extension of the Spanish empire with some autonomy (it had dozens of viceroys who supposedly governed at the same level of the Spanish crown in their respective territory), kind of like how Hawaii and Alaska are extensions of what's known as the U.S.A. These are not colonies.

3. I would say ideological indoctrination or reeducation based on something like critical race theory, or indigenist neo-marxism, is more akin to mind rape to those exposed to it who lack critical thinking and enough knowledge to internally contradict it.
