Hollow Knight -> Nine Sols -> Symphony of the night
I played all 3 within the span of a year and this is my unironic rating.
Nine Sols' final boss was absolute kino, the world building and characters, and honestly every boss was fun and memorable. One of the few games I enjoyed 100%'ing. Symphony of the Knight's combat is dogshit. The ambience and castle is beautiful, but the gameplay is mediocre. Half the bosses you kill immediately, it's far too easy and simple.
Hollow Knight is a masterpiece in it's own right.
