I don't think sentient, sapient, robots would have a good time in real life, but I also don't know why they'd exist at all. Like, most of my robo-waifu fantasies have them displaying a degree of independence, they have a life on their own in some way or another, but more often than not they just kinda skirt why these roombas were built to think and feel like a human in the first place.
