When you have a ton of drone girls to choose from, it won't be your first instinct to vote for all of them in the qualifiers. You will always have anons who just vote for their faves while resenting others.
With N, you don't have this issue as he is MD's go-to male. Him having very little in the way of haters probably also helps.

NTA, but it kinda helps that at least some dubs were done later, when Glitch was already benefitting from TADC's rise. I too had some problems with the awkwardness of ep 1 original voiceacting and was planning to watch it gradually, but realised that, roughly a year ago, Glitch had included a Polack dub of MD performed by the same team that has been working on dubbing Digital Circus. It made for smooth watching and rewatching of the pilot.
