Neither of the two would be amazed by it but Alice and J are in the same situation at season's end (Alice's head is kinda mushy and cannot regen but that's not gonna kill her, by all means should be able to move once bootloop times out). Nobody left alive who cares for them/they had a good relation with (Tessa/Beau), both at odds with the nuziv-group, both outside the bunker and both trapped in their own hell (Alice in CFL, which after 8 is completely dead aside from defaced Alice, the sentinels got killed by V or escaped and there aren't even roaches down there/// J on the surface, wanting to leave but having a damaged 'ship').
They wouldn't like one another and it is hardly possible to establish contact with at least one of them surviving, but they are in a way, in the same dilemma. Even down to having served their cause (solver/CFL, you can argue for each that this was just for survival but that doesn't negate their merits) only to get downthrodden and receive nothing for it
