There’s been a nagging voice in my mind since I rewatched this show that really makes me think that Teri was lined up as Darwin’s girlfriend at some point and that Carrie was going to be left alone.
And if that alternative reality happened, then I probably would have been a Carriefag until the end of time right now instead. My derangement for both Teri and Carrie was almost pretty even until Carrie got fish sticked and from there I just couldn’t care for the ghost as much.
Seriously Darwin is lame as fuck, and I say this as someone who still likes Penny even if I think Gumball is a stupid inconsiderate faggot. To me, Darwin is just so much worse by being lame that he was going to bring down any girl stuck with him and it’s unfortunate that Carrie went down that path.
