Play SM again before posting please. I did and I straight up went through two towns in a row in like 40 minutes with 20 of those minutes being text boxes. There's fucking NOTHING to do in SM towns, they're all hallways with the occasional Malasada shop or MAYBE a branching hallway with an item and grass. Every time I entered town I was greeted by an NPC who would blab on for another 2 minutes before telling me where to go

Anything you think BW did badly, SM are GENUINELY worse about and I still like both games
