In the topic of Asa killing Denji.
At the very least this chapter actually paved way for a very hopeful ending, because Asa's mom inflicted so much pain in her by being an utilitarian psycho that it pretty much guarantees that Asa won't turn out like her. So Asa will never settle with allowing Denji to die.
I fully believe we'll have a happy ending or at least one where Asa and Denji move past the traumas of their abusive parents.

The entire story is about Denji and Asa escaping the shadow of their abusive parents by overcoming trauma, avoiding becoming like them and repeating the cycle.

I have no idea what's going on...
