>pretended to have "retired"
oh forgot about that one
>I don't think he'd be on the warpath against Chujin for what was ostensibly an honest mistake.
Then why fire him, granted it could another rash decision moment.
>if Chujin wasn't acting like a bloodthirsty warmonger
I feel like a lot of people forgot that Chujin views were not only consider normal, but rather tame compared to what other monster wanted to do I think chujin is good there. The fact that Chujin wanted to capture the human alive and felt regret to what happen them despite how many monster they kill and how close her own daughter nearly died is down right saintly. Also Asgore seem fine with Undyne... you know that being up even more questions...
>Asgore did still want his people to be safe and still want their freedom
While true, he still just sit on his ass doing nothing and just waits until the human comes to him. He so paralyzed by fear, grief, and regent to what he promise his people "the whole genocide of humanity part which everyone also way seem to forget about" that he will do anything to put it off. And a army of robots, shit people might depand to send one out to gather the remaining souls.
