One thing they touched on but didn't elaborate enough on is that Star Wars has become a toy for rich 1% liberal assholes and is really only sold as premium exclusivity experiences.
Disney is selling out roles to already in the business personalities who want controlling interests in the story and cameos. I knew there was something wrong as soon as l learned Daniel Craig played the Stormtrooper who fought Finn, and Simon Pegg played that alien.
Star Wars actually has a deep and abiding respect for bit actors and small characters like, Red Leader, Wedge, Mon Mothma, Admiral Ackbar, all those Imperial Commanders. Even the Prequel trilogy featured some good one off characters. The entire story actually hinged on the actions of pic related at one point.
In the Disney Wars, every tiny character moment and bit actor is taken by some celeb who likely petitioned for the role. It's all become a ultra rich playground and they want to keep it out of the hands of the masses, thus all the opportunities to shit on old characters and stories.

Star Wars for me, not for thee.
