I'm thinking Jarul DID probably know Ryuma and maybe saw him fight as a kid. Ryuma was an undefeated sword god who traveled the world looking for people to fight. There's no way he didn't show up to Elbaf, a neighboring country and the strongest warrior military nation in the world.

I think the three monster trios will all get their own teacher in Elbaf. Luffy will train against Loki. Zoro against Jarul. Sanji against Gaban. And Bonney will turn everyone into their primes for the training.
