>power ups that spawn at random in specific places. They work exactly like bridge buffs but are weaker. Some could give you completely new effects or temporary passives from already existing items
>grenades, potions and other pickups like in Kid Icarus. They could also spawn randomly in certain places or maybe inside boxes but you can carry one at a time with you and activate them, others are activated on the spot. They should be weaker than normal skills. You could launch a small tornado, put up a wall, disrupt/hide the map, recruit a golem, get a bike that quickly breaks down, get a disposable Linken's Spehere or a single-use grappling hook that only works on terrain, putting a magical door on a wall which takes you to the other side of the building, and so on
>giving jungle camps some kind of interactivity and AI so that you actually have to aim and move out of the way. Like a small flying beholder that stops to fire a laser or a slime that splits itself whenever you kill it
>making it so that base guns actually function like guns before you buy any items. Not every weapon is automatic, revolvers have low ammo, shotguns deal more damage but only at close range, etc
>possibly adding ammo counts and ammo boxes if only to camp near them right after Vyper destroys my entire base by holding down M1
