Dune is widely considered to be Lynch's worst movie and a bit of a trainwreck, Lynch himself hated how it turned out because disputes with the studio forced him to change and remove a lot of stuff that was left on the editing room. Thus the way the movie awkwardly rushes into the final act all of a sudden.

Simping for Dune is peak midwit contrarianism, Lynch himself hated it and would have agreed that the 2021 version is better.

And I say this as a huge Lynch fan.
