Great beer (the sort that is both good AND affordable) is like that.

The Żubrówka Bison Grass is really good (obviously, I've known for a while). Very good on its own, and mixes well with generic shit -- like Pepsi or Coke (various flavors).
We'll have to see how it mixes with the less generic shit tomorrow.
