I did it again, so this thread is owed a post. Tonight's drunken thought is that there's no-one I'd rather be but me. I've spent far too much of my life imagining the person that I could've been, if things had been different, but I've finally come to terms with the fact that I can't be anything other than myself, and that myself is a perfectly fine thing to be. A year ago, I would've loved to be anyone or anything else. Now, I'd hate to be anything besides myself. Honestly, I'm quite happy. It's Magners apple cider. They're very sweet, sweeter than I'm used to.
I picked up a couple of six-packs, as well. "Summer" beers, i.e. completely pilsner/IPA beers with a bit of citrus added to them. Those are more to my taste.

My preferred poison after a hard days work is just plain pilsner beer.
Otherwise, my preference is absinthe, usually mixed with chilled water but it also works great with club soda (and other sodas, but at that point, you're diluting the taste of the absinthe a fair bit). Whisky (usually the smokey sort) is also a great choice, for drinking neat or mixing with coke.
I haven't much experience with Tequila. It's probably quite good when mixed appropriately.

If you are looking for something new to try anon then I always give out my Nyx Mix. 1.5 oz Vodka, 0.5 oz Black Raspberry Liqueur, a dash of whip cream and fill up the cup a bit with cranberry juice. It's great if you like the taste of cranberry and it can be really hard to taste the alcohol if you use Berry Vodka, make sure you do Absolute so you don't lose the % though.

I have been recommended this mix, but I haven't tried it yet.
I'm going to go get another bottle of this (thank Celestia the local carries this), and some primo apple juice, to try this.

The Żubrówka Bison Grass is really good (obviously, I've known for a while). Very good on its own, and mixes well with generic shit -- like Pepsi or Coke (various flavors).
We'll have to see how it mixes with the less generic shit tomorrow.

You can definitely taste the Berri,it goes down about as smooth as Absolut usually does but Absolut is really best as a mixer. Put it in some sprite and it really activated the flavor. Enjoyable and cheap.
