shiftup absolutely mindfucked me with how shocking and twisted Overzone was, and then we end up at this point in the story where there is now a 0% chance of anyone permanently dying and there is no tension whatsoever. In fact, dying/getting incapped is a good thing because there's just magically way better tech upgrades waiting in storage for the jobbing dickhead
