Discord has a lot of useless bloat, but the main things you learn to miss is: Voice filtering, automatic voice level detection. There are also tools and some automatic solutions to deal with multiple people talking at the same time. Echo cancellation, systeam audio bypass, global attenuation. Manual user volume adjustments.
All of what discord has for voip can be done in mumble and some are even better in mumble out of the box, but a lot of it is a hassle. Where as Discord is plug and play.
Screensharing is essential plus also.
However even as I am the one shilling discord here, I cant forego the bad parts of discord, which are many. I think the biggest is the massive bloat of useless features, many related to discord trying to find profit. Also locking some of the most important system level stuff behind paywall is very bad.
