The image augurs badly but I look forward to seeing whatever the product is. I wish a real adventure would captivate the general for a while. I think something in the vein of A Life Chronicle - slightly more structured and with a less conventional setting, maybe playing with unreliable narration - has the chance to really transform the medium. Same answer. I know at least one of you won't want to provide it but I'd like to hear more. For me, the only form of "afterlife" that makes sense is pretty material: your constituents and energy break down and are taken up in other things or beings, so that at some point basically everything constitutes everything else. Obviously there are some states that are more mobile than others - some situations might leave your pieces locked up in a relatively small space, like being embalmed and buried in a concrete tomb, or even the relatively limited circulation between Earth and solar system. I like the idea of sky burial or being eaten by a large predator/scavenger so as much of me stays consolidated as possible, but that's a fool's errand anyway I guess. I sometimes think that use/ownership of or proximity to items, places, etc. might impart a piece of the "soul", but I don't really know where I land on that part. I do think everything inanimate or animate has a special signature that it marks others with
