Like 90% of the top intellectual elite from Poland and Russia left to offer their services to USA. We’re not talking low level engineers we’re talking nobel prize winners.
Israel was a secondary recipient but most left to USA. This brain drain will be studied in the future once its comprehended what a big deal it was, and explains why Poland and Russia are basically never gonna make it again as they are stuck with those low level engineers
