The passes have gotten much worse and that's a major debacle but ngl a lot of the things on this picture were kinda overblown. Especially the layoffs. Pretty much every American company (maybe even more than US companies but just international companies as a whole instead) ballooned in size and hired a fuckton of literally useless people that're progressively getting laid off in more and more droves and that's what those layoffs were for the most part. The skin artists are all still there and the outsourcing still existed before the layoffs in the same quantity it does now. The lower effort put into skins is just the amount of work they're putting on their existing artists (5 pass skins, including a Prestige, Exalted skins which have to be crazy good to justify their price, biweekly patch skins, Mythic Chromas, etcetra) - not that there's less of them now or anything. It's just mismanagement basically I think.
