Prometheus and Covenent had no worldbuilding though. Literally none of it was relevant in any way to the Alien series. It's a completely separate series that had a few alien scraps taped on to bait and switch viewers. You want worldbuilding for Alien, you go for Alien Isolation. There's more companies than just Weyland Yutani. There's actual competition in the markets. There's more ships out there than just the Nostromo and more locations than just Earth and LV-426. Their universe did not develop super advanced holograms and nano smart phones and it's better for it.
