Not sure if you're trying to draw a mechanical functional distinction between an FRT mechanism vs a SS mechanism, but I've got a Deez Nutz Tactical super safety cam and trip bar setup installed in a PSA AK102 and it runs pretty solid. It is having a light primer strike every 100 rounds or so, so I need to try a higher power hammer spring.
