No, some people are actual after the Truth and consider finding out about it and following it the most important thing in the world, even if doing so will cause you to be viewed as weird, persecuted, etc.
I believe that Christ was the real Son of God, God incarnate. The Shroud of Turin in particular among all of the other documentation about the religion in its early days actually gives me a reasonable belief that he came, died, and resurrected as the Gospels stated, and he fulfilled numerous messianic prophecies, especially those in Isaiah.
If I were to deny that in favor of something else like LARPing paganism just because my ancestors were pagans, even further back in time then when they were Catholics/Christians, then I would be denying the Truth which would seem stupid and antithetical to our ability to seek the Truth out in the first place.
