Quick question: I'm Alpha hunting a Riolu, and I'm at the ladder where one spawns on a rooftop.

I read you can (quickly) cycle the spawns by climbing up and down the ladder, but I just want to double check I'm not wasting my time when I can still hear the fucker when I finish climbing down the ladder.

Also, has anyone (organically) come across shinies? I think the only one I've caught outside of quests is a Fletchling.
